Juelz Santana Mixtapes Promote His Career
Juelz Santana, born Laron Louis James, is a rapper, producer, and actor whose claims to fame were his featured appearances on Cam’ron’s singles in 2002. As a result, he has recorded three of his own albums and had roles in three major films. Juelz Santana mixtapes have been released for a number of reasons, but have ultimately been put to use in augmenting his career.
From Me to U, Santana’s first album, was released in 2003 with the label Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam. His next album, What The Game’s Been Missing!, was released in 2005 and had chart-topping hip hop songs including “There It Go (The Whistle Song)” at #3. This single and its album were both certified gold.
When Santana started working with Lil’ Wayne on a collaboration album, an Ohio DJ released copies of Lil’ Wayne and Juelz Santana mixtapes which contained twelve leaked tracks from the duet sessions. Though it was not advocated by either hip hop artist, the release of the tape was popular, but production ceased in the summer of ’07.
His mixtapes were further utilized after this incident. He stated that he intended to release various tapes with hip hop songs to encourage peace as well as creativity. Though there was a delay on the release, Santana was featured on the fifteenth track of Lil Wayne’s subsequent album.
Many artists utilize rap mixtapes to enhance their popularity or simply advocate specific principles. Juelz Santana mixtapes are, needless to say, no exception. Despite his immense popularity in his studio albums and singles, he still gained much popularity through the release of these tapes, whether it was on his own or paired with another artist. He even wanted to put these compilations to use in keeping peace and maintaining the flow of creativity in his career.
